Counter measures are fairly simple:

  • Perform medical and dental checks on a regular basis to prevent chronic inflammations
  • Get a sufficient amount of sleep
  • Integrate well-balanced rest days into your training schedule
  • Check for balanced nutrition and sufficient water supply
  • Apply functional clothing, follow the onion layer principle in cold weather and mind your headgear
  • Take a hot shower after your workout, dry your hair and change to warm clothes
